# VerisZone

> VerisZone is the enterprise AI governance control plane. It is a product of Geniaz. Tagline: "Govern with certainty."

VerisZone takes any AI initiative or agent through one governed lifecycle — idea → business case → governance → deployment → monitoring → value realization → scale/retire — keeping risk, compliance, evidence, ownership and business value on a single traceable spine. Hero thesis: "Pilot AI safely. Scale only when evidence says yes."

## What it is
- An Enterprise AI Governance operating system / control plane.
- Runs a canonical 13-phase lifecycle, summarized as the seven stages above.
- The one product that connects governance authoring, runtime enforcement and tamper-evident evidence in a single control set.
- Guiding principle: executives see decisions, AI leaders see operations, employees see work — all reading the same underlying truth.

## Four product surfaces
- Executive Dashboards — per-CXO cockpits ("tell me what matters"); they author the Playbook (strategy, policy, roadmap) that flows into AI Central.
- AI Central — operate the enterprise AI portfolio (model registry, AI PMO, governance, evidence, policies, the AI Gateway).
- Employee Workspace — the simplest surface: My AI Workspace, AI Assistant, Governance Academy.
- Governance Academy — the employee AI capability center (not a giant LMS).

## Differentiating pillars
- Veris Enforce — the runtime enforcement plane. Governance says what an agent may do; Enforce decides at call time what it does: deny-by-default capability tokens (short-lived, per-call), egress control and human-in-the-loop. Every decision is signed into a tamper-evident, hash-chained Tool-Call Ledger. "Controls hold around the model, not inside it."
- AI Gateway — the single inline choke point every AI request (agent tool call or employee request) flows through, where policy becomes an enforced control at call time (capability tokens, egress control, PII masking, DLP) before anything runs.
- Policy-as-a-Service — the same DLP/classification rulebook the AI Gateway enforces inline, exposed as a callable verdict service (/api/policy/inspect → allow · mask · block) so a browser extension, CASB, forward proxy or CI pipeline governs shadow AI too.
- Evidence Fabric — everything VerisZone does is stored for audit, start to finish, chained into the Tool-Call Ledger.
- One Governed Spine — every initiative and agent runs one governed lifecycle so nothing drifts between tools; risk, evidence, ownership and value stay attached at every phase, and governance can retire a failing initiative at any gate.
- Template Library & Regional Packs — browsable framework packs that generate ready-to-fill artifacts pre-filled from the live control set and mint evidence on generation.
- Veris Intelligence — the assistant built into VerisZone. It reads the same governed truth as every cockpit and turns it into recommendations, drafts and early warnings — grounded in your live controls, not a generic model's guesswork. It recommends what to prioritise (traced to the live record), preps the next scale-or-retire gate with a confidence score, drafts business cases / policies / impact assessments filed to Trust & Evidence, flags rising risk (control gaps, model drift) with a recommended governance action, appears in-context on every surface, and is governed by design (every interaction runs through the AI Gateway; it reasons over internal knowledge first, external models for reasoning only, never trained on your data). Bilingual: English and Arabic (العربية) with right-to-left layout.
